Tasting notes: Pale salmon colour with lifted raspberry, rose petal, subtle spice and citrus. Elegantly textured and balanced red fruits are complemented by soft lingering tannins. It will disappear from your glass before you can say “yes way rosé”
About the name: Bees Knees means that something or someone is beautiful or desirable or the best and refers not only to this wine, but also my late, great, much loved sister.
Vegan friendly.
The Tempranillo grapes were sourced from a vineyard near the Carbunup River in Margaret River. The fruit was hand-harvested, chilled then whole bunch pressed very gently to extract the pure juice and tannin and left to cold settle in tank before being racked into seasoned oak barrels for wild fermentation. Once ferment was complete, the wine was stirred periodically on lees to build texture and complexity then left to mature for 6 months.
